A common problem in the design and advertising industry stems from organisational structures. Briefing is conducted by the Project Manager who then passes the information onto Production who in turn passes it onto the Designer. More often than not, this practice will result in distortion of the brief by second-hand misinformation, hence producing unsuitable and unsatisfactory final results.
